Scope

ATP GreenX, Turkey's first digital green energy and carbon certificate trading platform, aims to provide its users with a secure and transparent transaction experience. I conducted an expert review by analyzing the platform's current UX processes to identify the challenges users face and provide improvement suggestions.

 

Challenge

• Users struggling in specific flows and taking unnecessary steps to complete transactions.

• Navigation difficulties due to complex information architecture.

• Inconsistent use of UI components and elements that negatively impact the user experience.

• Screens that do not follow UX principles, creating uncertainty for users.

 

Goals

• Optimize user flows while largely maintaining the current UI structure.

• Reduce complexity and speed up the user transaction process.

• Enhance understandability by aligning with UX principles.

• Improve transitions between pages to provide a more intuitive experience.

Process & My Contributions

• Expert Review and Heuristic Analysis I analyzed the entire platform from the user's perspective to identify UX pain points. Then, using UX principles, I identified areas that could confuse users or lead to errors.

• Pain Points and Prioritization I divided the identified UX issues into low, medium, and high priority categories and created a prioritization matrix. I provided quick wins and long-term UX improvement strategies for the most critical solutions.

• Redesign and UI Improvements I optimized the page layouts without completely changing the existing UI structure. I redesigned the user flow to eliminate unnecessary steps and provide faster actions. I reorganized the information architecture to make navigation more intuitive.

• Interaction Design and Prototyping I examined page transitions, button placements, and flow scenarios to create a smoother experience. I developed prototypes to support the development process and tested them with QA teams before implementation.
